Wallacia Planting Day
🌿 On Sat 20 April, Greater Sydney Landcare’s Creating Canopies team hosted a planting day at a Wallacia property owned by The Sabian Mandaean Association. 💧
🌳 Over 60 Mandaean community members came together to plant 2,800 native trees and shrubs. 🌏
🍃 Their efforts will not only enhance the beauty of the area but also create cooling shade for future generations. 🦋
About Creating Canopies: Landcare NSW and Greater Sydney Landcare are planting 200,000 trees as part of the Greening our City program to help reduce urban heat in Greater Sydney. Proudly funded by the NSW Government.
